SAVE SPANISH AND VOLUNTEER IN THE AMAZON

Spanish Amazon Volunteer Ecuador (SAVE) is dedicated to helping the environment. The Amazon Rainforest in the heart of Ecuador is a unique location to learn Spanish. The school has excellent, friendly teachers that will provide you with the best knowledge and skills during your Spanish Language Course in one of the most diverse locations on earth. As you are probably aware the Amazon rainforest is currently under threat. When you chose to study at SAVE you will be benefiting efforts to sustain the Amazon as the entire school and animal sanctuary strives to be self-sustaining and an eco-friendly environment where everything the animals and students might need is right on the door step. Students can volunteer in the animal sanctuary run by the school. This gives you the rare opportunity to get up close to some of the many rare and extraordinary animals of the Ecuadorian Amazon. SAVE (Spanish Amazon Volunteer Ecuador) hopes to open an orphanage for the children of the Amazon where students can volunteer and share their skills, so they have the motivation and education to lead satisfying and healthy lives in the future.

SAVE SPANISH SCHOOL

SAVE Spanish School brings you excellent Spanish courses. We are serious about our Spanish. SAVE Spanish School is recognized by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education. Our teachers are all qualified, and have many years of experience. The daily pattern is two lessons of Grammar in the morning, followed by a break, and two hours of application in the afternoon. In this way you receive the important grammatical basics, but also have lots of opportunity to apply this in real life situations. You will be able to learn Spanish, to communicate well with locals. It is also great for your future travels! Our methods are tried and tested, and have excellent results. We want you to make the best of your time with us. There is plenty of opportunity before, between and after class to volunteer on site with wildlife sanctuary, sustainable farming project, or at our on site orphanage.

WILDLIFE SANCTUARY AND RESCUE CENTRE

Help SAVE the wildlife! The SAVE Wildlife sanctuary and rescue centre is dedicated to helping the Amazon wildlife. Ecuador is known for its great diversity of plants and animals. However Increasing logging, illegal hunting and civilization means a decrease in the area available for wildlife, and more animals becoming displaced and at risk . There is a huge decline in wildlife populations, causing many species to be in danger of extinction. We help the sick or displace Amazon wildlife. SAVE is truly a sanctuary. Our aim where possible is to re-release the animal back into the wild. We believe by doing our part in helping injured wild animals and educating the public on the struggle of these animals, we will be helping to restore the balance between humans and nature. SAVE strives to give our animals the care and respect that they deserve while rehabilitating them.

SUSTAINABLE LIVING

SAVE project in the Ecuadorian Amazon strives to be self-sustaining and the entire school and animal sanctuary are ran with eco-friendly methods where everything the animals and students might need is right on the door step. This will include growing our own food, recycling the water, collecting rain water and setting up hydro-electric power systems. All buildings will be using eco-friendly materials for the development of the SAVE project

ORPHANAGE

Save is soon looking to come to the aid of local children also. Many children of the Amazon have no family or receive very little in the way of educational stimulation, attention and provisions to help them grow in all body and mind. Soon, alongside the Spanish school and animal conservation project SAVE, wishes to set up an orphanage with about 8 to 10 children. Students studying at the school are invited to help teach the children basic English, arithmetic and how to care for themselves and their surroundings. You will have the opportunity to Volunteer with children in an orphanage, alongside you language course, These children have very, but can learn so much and like ourselves build better futures
